Elder Soares came on February 6th to speak to both the Chicago Mission and us the Chicago West Missions.
He review the World Wide Mission Conference we had in January 2016.
He shared some scriptures to help inspire the importance of planning.
Moses 3--The Lord taught Moses that he had to have a Plan---
If you don’t have a detailed plan you are going to fail.
Ether 3 --The Lord taught the Brother of Jared to have a Plan---
D&C 10:12---Satan has a plan, he does not want your plan to work.
Do everything you can first then ask the Lord to help you keep your plans so we don't fall to the cunning plan of the evil one.
HAVE BOLD PLANS THEN BOLDLY CARRY OUT YOUR PLANS!
Review your goals and plans continually.
Change your plan to achieve your Goal.
Elder Soares used these questions to teach us about goals:
What is a goal? What does your Goal represent?
How many goals do you need to set in order to reach the goal?
What do you use to set your goals? 11 KEY INDICATORS
How many of your goals did you achieve last week?
What goals did you set last night?
Do we have faith enough in God to achieve your Goals?
What is getting in the way?
There is POWER in goal setting/POWER of being bold/P0WER of faith
Our GOALS should have; 3 lessons planned each night and 3 new investigators
Bring your plans before the Lord. Plead before God in FAITH and ask for his blessings.
1. SET GOALS
2. BELIEVE in you purpose and goals
3. WORK HARD
4. BLESSINGS WILL COME! The Lord will shower you with blessings!
